“Those Who Speak Good of Others, Are Good Themselves”: Renutai Gavaskar’s Heartfelt Interaction with Students

‘Zhep’ initiative launched at Sanmati Bal Niketan with enthusiasm and inspiration

Pune, 3 June 2025 – With a heartwarming atmosphere filled with joy, inspiration, and purpose, the ‘Zhep’ initiative—dedicated to nurturing the holistic development of students—was inaugurated at Sanmati Bal Niketan, located in Manjri (Budruk), Pune. The event was organized by Saptasindhu Mahila Aadhar, Balsangopan va Shikshan Sanstha, founded by Padmashree Maharsi Dr. Sindhutai Sapkal (Mai).

The highlight of the event was the soulful interaction between students and Renutai Gavaskar, a veteran social activist and Chairperson of Eklavya Nyas. Her presence as the chief guest added a deep emotional value to the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Zhep’ initiative.

Renutai Gavaskar Inspires with Her Simplicity and Wisdom

In her signature affectionate and impactful style, Renutai Gavaskar won the hearts of students with her words of wisdom. “Those who speak good about others are themselves good at heart,” she said, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. Her message emphasized empathy, kindness, and positive thinking—qualities essential for building strong, confident young minds.

Through her interactive dialogue, she not only motivated students but also sowed seeds of self-belief and social responsibility, encouraging them to see value in compassion and mutual respect.

A Thoughtful Beginning for the ‘Zhep’ Initiative

The event also featured Principal Ravindra Nigade of K. K. Ghule School, run by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, as a guest of honor. Addressing the students, he underlined the importance of discipline, hard work, and perseverance in shaping a successful life.

His speech resonated with the students as he drew real-life examples and encouraged them to aim high and stay grounded, reinforcing the values of time management, focus, and dedication.

Not Just a Camp – But a Platform for Self-Discovery

In her introductory address, Mamta Sindhutai Sapkal, Chairperson of the organizing institution, revealed the core philosophy behind the ‘Zhep’ initiative.

“Zhep is not merely a camp. It is a dynamic platform that goes beyond academics to awaken the hidden talents in children while laying the foundation for vital life skills,” she explained.

Her words reflected the broader mission of the organization – to provide underprivileged children with emotional strength, life education, and exposure to creativity. Through ‘Zhep’, the organization aims to bridge the gap between traditional education and essential real-world skills.

Community-Led Event Planning and Execution

The entire program was meticulously planned and executed by the institution’s management and dedicated staff members, who worked closely with the children to make the event a success.

The anchoring of the program was handled by Pratap Chinchole, while the vote of thanks was given by Dinesh Shete. The involvement of students in various aspects of the event—from planning to stage execution—was a reflection of the participatory learning environment that the initiative strives to promote.

A New Chapter of Positivity and Growth Begins

The inauguration of ‘Zhep’ marked the beginning of a transformative journey for the students of Sanmati Bal Niketan. The atmosphere was charged with positive energy, hope, and inspiration, setting the tone for upcoming sessions of the initiative.

The program not only served as a formal launch but also as a spiritual and emotional spark, empowering both students and educators to look beyond conventional methods and embrace a more wholesome approach to education.
