
Pune, May 5, 2025 — In a powerful celebration of strength, beauty, and resilience, Kusumvatsalya Foundation, under the leadership of its founder and president Vaishali Patil, organized a charity fashion show for acid attack and cancer survivors. The event took place at the scenic Jawalkar Farm Resort in Khadakwasla, Pune, and witnessed enthusiastic participation and emotional moments that left the audience inspired.
The foundation, known for its 18 years of dedicated service to underprivileged and marginalized communities, once again proved its commitment to social upliftment by bringing smiles and confidence to those who have endured unimaginable hardships.

The fashion show was held under the title “Fashion Factor” and included competitive segments in categories like Kids, Miss, Mrs., Mister, and Couples. Participants from across Maharashtra walked the runway, showcasing not only fashion but courage and inner strength.

The event garnered immense appreciation from all quarters, especially for Vaishali Patil, who was praised for her consistent efforts to uplift society’s most vulnerable. Senior Police Inspector Irfan Shaikh, Ravindra Thakur, Deepika Oswal, Anil Relekar, Adv. Indrajit Dongre, and Vikas Kadu Patil were present as chief guests.
Also in attendance were survivors and supporters including Sulochana Naik, Anjali Gadoya, Jyoti Rajani, Preeti Kaushik, Suman Singh, Manisha Buddhisagar, and Jyoti Sutar. Many of the women participating came from various cities in Maharashtra, making the event a truly inclusive and state-wide celebration.
