“Swargat bandhlya jaatat lagnaachya gaathi, Meera cha naav gheto aaj ukhaanyasathi.”

Responding in tune, the heroine takes her ukhana too:
“Swargaachya saakshine dete mi lagnaach vachan, Lalitach aahe maza jaanejigar jaaneman.”
