The Rupa Ratan family will make their entry in a vibrant and festive style, reflecting their Rajasthani roots. Dressed in colourful attire and riding on decorated camels, they will bring with them a glimpse of Rajasthan’s rich culture. Their arrival is expected to set a cheerful tone in the society, filling it with warmth, music, and tradition.

In a special moment, Asit Kumarr Modi himself will appear in the episode to personally introduce the family to Gokuldham members, making their entry even more memorable for fans of the show.

Asit Kumarr Modi on Expanding the Gokuldham Family

Speaking about the new development, Asit Kumarr Modi said:

“Over the years, viewers have shown immense love for every character of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Each new addition has been embraced wholeheartedly, becoming part of the audience’s daily lives. With the Rupa Ratan family, we are adding fresh colours, new traditions, and more humour. I am confident they will soon find a special place in the hearts of our fans.”

He further added that the casting process took several months. After multiple auditions, Dharti Bhatt, Kuldeep Gor, Akshaan Sehrawat, and Maahi Bhadra were selected for their sincerity, dedication, and ability to blend seamlessly with the TMKOC format.

Meet the Rupa Ratan Family

  • Ratan Binjola (played by Kuldeep Gor): A saree shop owner from Jaipur, Ratan will bring his entrepreneurial spirit and witty personality into the society.
  • Rupa Baditop (played by Dharti Bhatt): A homemaker and influencer, Rupa’s character will represent today’s modern yet culturally rooted women.
  • Veer (played by Akshaan Sehrawat): Energetic and playful, Veer will add innocence and fun to the Tapu Sena’s dynamic.
  • Bansari (played by Maahi Bhadra): The youngest member of the family, Bansari will bring charm, cuteness, and cheer to everyday moments in Gokuldham.

Together, the family is expected to bring new shades of storytelling while staying true to the show’s theme of “unity in diversity.”

A Blend of Culture, Comedy, and Relatability

Introducing a Rajasthani family into Gokuldham adds another cultural layer to the sitcom. From traditional Rajasthani cuisine and festivals to everyday banter, their presence will give viewers a taste of Indian diversity, presented in the signature TMKOC style filled with humour and heart.

Importantly, their arrival will not disrupt the beloved rhythm of the show but rather enhance the narrative with fresh interactions and relatable conflicts. Just like Jethalal, Bhide, Madhavi, Babita Ji, and other favourites, the Rupa Ratan family is expected to carve out their own space in the audience’s hearts.

Experienced Actors Bring Life to New Characters

The makers have roped in talented actors to ensure authenticity and connect:

  • Kuldeep Gor is a familiar face in Gujarati cinema, television, and theatre, with notable films like Jessu Jordaar and Big Bull. On television, he has been seen in Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hain and Maharashtra Chi Hasya Jatra.
  • Dharti Bhatt has charmed audiences with her roles in Mahisagar and Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal?, showcasing her versatility in both comedy and drama.

With the addition of child actors Akshaan Sehrawat and Maahi Bhadra, the show is set to capture the innocence and playfulness that has always been a TMKOC trademark.
