Allegations Against Orchid School in Bhavani Peth Baseless, Say Officials

School Management Presents Official Documents to Refute Claims

Pune: The management of Orchid School in Bhavani Peth, operated by the Nav Maharashtra Shikshan Sanstha, has strongly denied recent allegations questioning the school’s legality. In a press conference held on Thursday, the institution’s chairman Nasir Khan and secretary Shahida Nasir Khan presented official documents verifying the school’s legitimacy and accused a few individuals of deliberately spreading misinformation.

A Fully Recognized School with 100% Results

The Orchid School, located in the heart of Bhavani Peth, has been running with full approval from the education department since 2003. The school currently provides education to nearly 1,500 students, primarily from economically weaker and minority backgrounds.

Speaking to the media, Secretary Shahida Nasir Khan emphasized the school’s consistent academic excellence. “Every year, our students achieve 100% pass results. The school infrastructure is completely safe, and all operations are in line with government norms,” she stated.

False Claims Aimed at Misleading the Public

These clarifications came in response to a recent press conference held by office-bearers of the defunct Jai Gruhnirman Society. During their briefing, they alleged that Orchid School was operating illegally. Refuting these claims, the school management presented the institution’s registration certificates, approval letters, and other documents to confirm its authorized status.

Chairman Nasir Khan accused the accusers of misleading both the public and the media. “A few individuals are attempting to create confusion and tarnish the image of a respected educational institution for personal or political gain,” he said.

Land Dispute and Alleged Criminal Backgrounds

The school administration believes that the root of the issue lies in a property dispute. They specifically named Ruksana Mehmood Hussain Fallah and a few of her associates, claiming that these individuals are attempting to pressure the school for financial gains allegedly in coordination with local builders.

“Jai Gruhnirman Society was dissolved long ago. Still, Fallah and her associates falsely claim to be its legitimate members. Several of them have criminal backgrounds, and the courts have already ruled against them,” Shahida Khan revealed during the briefing.

The management has already filed a defamation case against Fallah and her group for making baseless allegations. “They are not only targeting the school administration but are also playing with the future of 1,500 innocent students,” she added.

Pune Municipal Corporation and Education Department Back the School

The management also pointed out that both the Pune Municipal Corporation and the state education department have verified the school’s credentials. “Our institution is not just legal—it is respected. We have adhered to every regulation and have passed every inspection,” said Nasir Khan.

He further urged the media and general public not to fall prey to misinformation. “We welcome anyone who wants to verify our records. But nobody should spread falsehoods for their selfish interests, especially when it jeopardizes the education of underprivileged children,” he added.

Warning Against Attempts to Destabilize the Institution

The management concluded the press conference by warning those who are attempting to malign the school’s reputation. “This is not just an attack on a school—it is an attack on the dreams of 1,500 children and their families,” said Shahida Khan.

Legal action is underway, and the school has called upon the authorities to take strict measures against those found guilty of defamation or unlawful intimidation.

A Call for Responsible Journalism and Public Vigilance

In an age where misinformation can spread quickly, the school authorities called upon journalists and citizens to seek the truth before forming opinions. “We respect the media and the public’s right to question. But we also urge everyone to verify facts before accepting any narrative,” said Nasir Khan.

As this controversy unfolds, Orchid School continues its regular academic operations, committed to providing quality education to students who need it most.
