Pune:
While other political parties continue to merely talk about unemployment, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has once again demonstrated its commitment to people-centric politics by introducing a groundbreaking initiative — the “10,000 Jobs Scheme”, touted as Maharashtra’s first employment guarantee plan. With an aim to bring dignity and stability to thousands of unemployed citizens, AAP has positioned employment and relief from inflation as its two main electoral promises ahead of the upcoming local body elections.
A Concrete Employment Plan for Pune Citizens
AAP leaders in Pune announced that once the party comes to power in the Pune Municipal Corporation, it will create 10,000 part-time jobs for citizens who may not have access to formal education or employment opportunities.
The initiative is designed to ensure that even those with minimal educational qualifications can earn a monthly income of ₹10,000 for just 2 to 3 hours of work daily.
“No exams, no agents, and no fees — just a simple and transparent process,” assured the party leaders during the press conference held in Pune. Interested citizens can register through aappune.org and generate their own digital employment card.
